Thank you for taking the time to find out more about who we are. My name is Jacques Bosch, and I run the software development side of Digital Refraction. I have been designing and developing all kinds of software for over 14 years.
We are absolutely passionate about producing quality software that solves problems that exist in the real world and that actually makes our blue dot in space a better place.
We are a very small company. Our size keeps us agile and committed and interested in the success of our clients. Our philosophy is one of building long term relationships, not just one of delivering products.

We believe that small and medium business is a very important part of the South African economic engine. We therefor welcome the opportunity to do projects with small businesses that will empower them to excel at what they do.
If you have a business that is growing and could benefit from a custom system to advance to the next level, we are also open to forming long term mutually beneficial partnerships. If you feel that you have something to bring to the table, get in touch with us and let's see where we can go.
You might think that because we are small, that we cannot take on bigger projects. But you would be wrong. Through almost a decade and a half of working in the industry, I have built up valuable connections with people that are brilliant at what they do. We draw on these individuals when necessary, and enjoy working with them. We also have strategic partnerships in place that allows us to tackle large and complex projects at a very competitive cost.
I have been intimately involved with several large scale government projects, such as the MIG MIS (Municipal Infrastructure Grant Management Information System), and the EFMS (Educational Facilities Management System), as well as with international projects and smaller private sector projects. We therefore understand the various contexts and are well positioned to be of value.
